Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer Donde Plowman

Welcome to Nebraska.

As the chief academic officer at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, I’m proud to be part of our great tradition of scholarship and outreach to our state, nation and world.

This has always been a place of optimism and high ambition, and as we achieve together — whether you’re a student or faculty — we’ll continue to set our sights ever higher. At Nebraska, we look challenges and opportunities in the eye and apply fresh thinking, collaboration, and creativity to forge new paths. We are proud of our accomplishments but have little pretense; we are accessible, open and honest people who are helping each other become the best they can be. It’s a high calling, and I could not be more humbled and privileged to lead in our mission.
